I know that the Verizon FiOS router supports multiple DHCP scopes under "Advanced -> IP Address Distribution" but still so confused and lost on setting up the VLANs on the FiOS router itself because I don't see where to remove the LAN ports from the default "Home / Office Network" bridge (Bridged with the WAN for WWW Traffic) and assigning the PVID's and VLANs. If yes, just change it to default - switchport access vlan 1, then remove vlan 2 again and verify via show vlan command. I can set the " ip helper address " to point to a static IP on that VLAN which would be of course the Verizon FiOS router because I would set up (assuming) a static IP to the port and within the configuration of the Netgear tell it to pass the DHCP request to that IP and set a pool of DHCP request within the Verizon FiOS router. I would like to set up Port 1 on the Verizon FiOS router to send out DHCP request to say VLAN2, then Port 2 on the Verizon FiOS router to send out DHCP request to say VLAN3, and so on and so forth. I have set up the Netgear Layer 3 Switch for the VLan's (VLAN 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.) and have left VLAN1 the Default VLAN (Management VLAN).

Because swtich port 7 is a member of 99 untagged, the FiOS router will receive ethernet froms from pfsense and the ISP, but frames coming from the FiOS router will go nowhere. We keep getting the additional 200 a month billed to our account. Now Verizon is UNABLE to remove the plan - despite my wasting hours on the phone with customer service over something apparently very simple. You haven't listed any other switch port as being on vlan 98, so it appears to me that the FiOS router WAN is talking to nothing at all. We needed a monthly international plan when we lived in Germany this spring. You have the FiOS router connected here, but the switch port is set to pvid 98. The part that confuses me is your port 7 configuration. The switch has ports 6 and 8 both on vlan 99, so the ISP WAN Ethernet is effectively connected to pfsense's WAN. From what I understand, pfsense's WAN is using vlan 99. I'm trying to help somebody implement this, but I don't understand what you are prescribing here. But I would switch to VTP mode transparent first, then your vlan should appear in running config - Unless VTP mode is transparent, your vlans will not appear in running config. you can delete that file from flash to get rid of all but vlan 1. I have done this dual router (pfSense and FiOS provided router) before. Vlans are stored in file called Vlan.dat on the flash.
